Sports Marketing and Media Public Relations Specialist
My name is Roxanne Hafer, and I am a Public Relations Master’s degree graduate from Full Sail University, where I was recognized as Valedictorian and the Advanced Achievement recipient. I also obtained my Bachelor of Science in Sports Marketing and Media from Full Sail University, where I was acknowledged as Valedictorian, Advanced Achievement, and 1st MVP All-Star.
I was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and grew up loving all Pittsburgh sports teams. It was when I went to my first Pittsburgh Steelers game, at the age of 10 that I knew I wanted to become a part of the sports industry, and that love lead me to the Sports Marketing and Media program at Full Sail University.
While at Full Sail University I was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars by the founder Steve Loflin and took on the role of Vice President of Social Media. This role totally took me out of character, I went from being shy to someone everyone wanted to network with. I spoke at induction ceremonies, which was scary, since I normally posted on social media. After my first two ceremonies I felt like I was a pro at speaking in front of others. I decided that my next degree would be in Public Relations, so that I could learn how to project the power of my voice and message.
Commitment, dedication, and hard work are three qualities that make me unique. I love learning new things, meeting new people, and developing networks.
I consider myself a “Rox-Star” or rock star for my accomplishments and I am proud of every single one of them.
